Walk out the back door and right into Acadia National Park! You are also just a quick 12 min drive right into downtown Bar Harbor, a 1 mile walk to Seal Harbor Beach, or a 1 mile walk or bike ride to the infamous Jordan Pond House! Enjoy the perfect location away from it all with quick access to the highlights of Mount Desert Island. If you don’t feel like leaving the house, you can enjoy looking at the park and watching the horses go by on the Carriage Road right from the deck or Great Room.

The is a large home with every amenity you could hope for. With one queen bedroom and full bath on the main floor, four bedrooms and two baths on the second floor, and a giant bunk room and full bath in the finished daylight basement there is plenty of room for your whole family.

Enjoy relaxing in front of a fire in the spacious great room that features a beautiful wood paneled vault ceiling and quiet views into Acadia National Park. We have a large TV for streaming movies and a wonderful nook for doing puzzles or playing games so your entire group can gather and enjoy time together. 

The dining room has seating for 14, plus seating for 4 more at the large kitchen island. The kitchen is designed for cooking and has lots of space for multiple cooks to work together. With 2 ovens and a large 6 burner stove, you can prepare gourmet meals or have a lobster bake at home! We have outfitted the kitchen with all the essentials.

If you don’t want to spend your time eating indoors, take advantage of the large grill and enjoy dinner on the spacious deck looking into the park. The front porch is the perfect spot for a quiet cup of coffee or listening to the ocean during a storm.

Our basement space is the perfect spot for enjoying rainy days or warm summer evenings. With a 72 inch tv for streaming, a 12 foot shuffle board, table for games, and a full size extra fridge the space is designed for group gatherings!

Our basement bunk room is the perfect spot to enjoy the feeling of a Maine Camp without compromising on any modern luxuries. Our bunks each feature their own nook with a reading light, usb port, outlet and shelf to store devices or books. The bunk room has a full bath featuring 3 sinks and a separate shower room, so your whole crew can get ready for adventures quickly!

Seal Harbor is the secret gem of Mount Desert Island, located just a quick drive to Bar Harbor, but well outside the hustle and bustle so you can escape from it all. This home is as close as you can stay to the park without camping! The great room looks back into the serene woods of Acadia and you can enjoy our private trail that takes you right to the Carriage Road system. You can walk, ride or run to the famous Jordan Pond House and never have to fight for parking! It is also Seal Harbor Beach which is a perfect spot for a brisk swim, a beach walk, or playing in the sand. Northeast Harbor is also a short drive away where you can find more quaint shops and restaurants. Seal Harbor has a stop on the Island Explorer Route for convenient access during peak season. We are happy to share the contact info for our local lobsterman that fishes right out of Seal Harbor and you can meet him at the dock to get your lobbers right off the boat!
